Understanding Guys

I am having a hard time understanding guys. They say one thing & they mean another. Like they say they have a crush on you & you say I am not interested can we just be friends & they say "yes" but they get jealous if you have other guy's that are just your friend. And then you end up not being there friend anymore. I think that Is why girls have a hard time being just friends with guys.
